How To Make Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until crumbly.

Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder until well combined.

Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust and return to the oven for another 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
