Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add beef slices and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, add sliced onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.

  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot over cooked rice.
