How To Make Drunken Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 oz flat rice noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Thai bird chilies, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced chicken, beef, or tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Thai basil leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions

Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced Thai bird chilies. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for another minute.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the chicken, beef, or tofu to the other side. Cook until browned and cooked through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken (or beef/tofu) and vegetables.

Add the cooked rice noodles to the pan and toss well to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.

Remove from heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves and fresh cilantro.

Serve the drunken noodles with lime wedges on the side.
