How To Make Swedish Apple Cake
Moist, tender, and lightly spiced, this classic Swedish Apple Cake is an easy dessert that’s perfect to serve with coffee.

Ingredients
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9 inch cake pan.

In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and cardamom.

In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chopped apples.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
