Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant and translucent.

  3. Add the paprika, cumin, chili powder, and black pepper, and stir to combine.

  4. Add the white wine and chicken broth, and bring to a boil.

  5. Add the diced tomatoes and shrimp and stir to combine.

  6. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the sauce thickens and the shrimp are cooked through, about 10 minutes.

  7. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt to taste.

  8. Serve with rice or bread and garnish with chopped parsley.
