How To Make Portuguese Grilled Sardines Recipe
Deliciously grilled sardines marinated in garlic, herbs, and olive oil. A classic Portuguese delicacy.

Ingredients
- 8 fresh sardines, gutted and scaled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Rub the mixture all over each sardine, making sure to coat both sides.

Grease the grill grates and place the sardines on the grill. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is cooked through.

Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
