  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder.

  3. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
