  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the Romano cheese, flour, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

  3. Dip each chicken breast into the lemon juice, then coat it with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

  5. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
