How To Make Japanese Beef and Ginger Noodles Recipe

Tender beef served over fragrant ginger noodles.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of Udon noodles
  • 1 lb of beef sirloin, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, sake, honey, and ginger.

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.

  4. Reduce heat to medium and add sauce mixture. Simmer until sauce thickens.

  5. Serve beef over noodles, topped with green onions.
