  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (omit for mild)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, salt, black pepper, fennel seeds, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).

  2. Use your hands to mix the ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a sausage link.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the sausage links.

  5. Cook the sausages for about 5-7 minutes per side, until cooked through and browned.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite accompaniments.
