How To Make Beef Mince & Tomato Ragu

Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the beef mince to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

While the ragu is simmering, cook your choice of pasta according to the package instructions.

Serve the beef mince & tomato ragu over cooked pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
