How To Make Air Fryer Indian Samosas
Crispy, savory Indian samosas with a spiced potato and pea filling made healthier in the air fryer.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup of frozen peas
- 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp of garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
-
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oil, and salt. Mix well.
-
Add water, knead until dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
-
In a pan, heat oil. Add cumin seeds.
-
Once cumin seeds crackle, add diced potatoes, peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to taste.
-
Cook for 10-12 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Set aside.
-
Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
-
Divide dough into 8-10 equal parts.
-
Roll each ball into a 5-inch diameter circle. Cut it in half, forming two semi-circles.
-
Place 1-2 tbsp of filling onto each half-circle. Fold one end of the dough over the filling to the opposite end, forming a triangle.
-
Apply water to the edges and press it down with a fork to seal it.
-
Spray samosas with cooking spray on all sides. Place samosas in the air fryer basket.
-
Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Serve hot with chutney or your desired dipping sauce.
