How To Make Chicken Paprikash

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, bone-in and skin-on
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Cooked egg noodles or rice, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts, skin side down, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the sweet paprika and cook for 1 minute.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream and flour until smooth. Gradually stir the sour cream mixture into the skillet. Continue cooking until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.

Serve the chicken paprikash over cooked egg noodles or rice. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
