How To Make Chinese Tofu and Peanut Sauce Recipe
A savory and satisfying dish that combines the creaminess of tofu with the nuttiness of peanut sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts, for garnish
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced, for garnish
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, sesame oil, and water and whisk until smooth.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add in the tofu. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown on all sides.

Pour the peanut sauce over the tofu, stirring well to coat every piece, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped peanuts and sliced scallions. Serve hot and enjoy.
