A savory and satisfying dish that combines the creaminess of tofu with the nuttiness of peanut sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts, for garnish
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, sesame oil, and water and whisk until smooth.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add in the tofu. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown on all sides.

  3. Pour the peanut sauce over the tofu, stirring well to coat every piece, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped peanuts and sliced scallions. Serve hot and enjoy.
