  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque.

  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

  7. Serve the shrimp over cooked rice.
