How To Make The Ritz-Carlton’s New York Strip Steak Recipe
Juicy and tender New York strip steak seasoned to perfection and served with a side of roasted vegetables.

Ingredients
- 4 New York strip steaks, 1 1/2 inch thick
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 sprigs of thyme
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Pat the New York strip steaks dry with paper towels.

Mix together the olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl.

Rub the mixture all over the steaks.

Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until it’s smoking hot.

Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 2 minutes on each side.

Add the butter, thyme, and garlic to the skillet.

Once the butter has melted, spoon it over the steaks.

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare doneness.

Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
