How To Make Steak and Shake Frisco Melt Recipe
A mouth-watering burger with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and tangy sauce on toasted sourdough bread.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 8 slices American cheese
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside.

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and divide it into four patties.

Cook the beef patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Assemble Frisco Melt by placing a slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Place the bread on a baking sheet.

Top each slice of cheese with a beef patty, two slices of bacon, a tablespoon of the Thousand Island dressing, and diced onions.

Top with another slice of cheese and then another slice of bread.

Butter the top of each sandwich and place it in the oven for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
