  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and butter. Spread evenly in an 8-inch baking dish.

  3. In another bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until well combined.

  4. Pour batter over peach mixture and smooth the top evenly.

  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
