Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread Crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix the panko bread crumbs, shredded coconut and Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread Crumbs.

  2. In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.

  3. In a third bowl, whisk the eggs.

  4. Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally coat in the coconut mixture.

  5. Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 375°F.

  6. Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
