How To Make Johnny’s Mushroom Swiss Burger Recipe

Delicious homemade burgers topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or stovetop.

  2. Mix ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  3. Grill or cook patties until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).

  4. Sauté mushrooms and onions in a pan until tender.

  5. Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms and onions.

  6. Serve on a hamburger bun.
