How To Make Gino’s Meatball Sandwich
A hearty, Italian-style sandwich filled with juicy meatballs, melted cheese, and tangy tomato sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Shape mixture into 12 meatballs.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs on all sides.

Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cooked through.

Slice hoagie rolls in half and spread tomato sauce on each half.

Place 3 meatballs on each roll and top with a slice of provolone cheese.

Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
