Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tbsp water
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup crushed almonds

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large saucepan, melt butter and sugar over medium heat.

Stir in vanilla extract, sliced almonds, water, and salt.

Increase the heat to high and stir constantly for 5-7 minutes or until the mixture turns amber in color.

Pour the toffee mixture onto a lined baking sheet, and spread it uniformly.
