Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles for toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

  2. Mix together ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties.

  4. Grill or cook patties until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium.

  5. Toast hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet.

  6. Place cooked patties on the bottom bun and top each with a slice of cheddar cheese.

  7. Layer on desired toppings and cover with top bun.
