How To Make Buca Di Beppo Zeppole Recipe
Traditional Italian mini desserts, fried dough balls dusted with powdered sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together water and vanilla extract.

Slowly pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients, whisking until the batter is thoroughly combined and smooth.

Pour vegetable oil into a heavy-bottomed pot and heat over medium-high heat. Heat until temperature reaches 375°F.

Scoop the batter using a tablespoon and drop balls carefully into hot oil.

Fry the balls until they turn golden brown, turning occasionally, for about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the fried balls and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to cool down.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve the Zeppoles hot!
