A classic Italian dessert made with ladyfingers drenched in espresso and layered with sweetened mascarpone cheese.

Ingredients
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup strong espresso, cooled
- 1/4 cup Kahlua
- 16 ladyfingers
- cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

In a shallow dish, mix the espresso and Kahlua together.

Dip the ladyfingers into the espresso mixture, then arrange them in a single layer in the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish.

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
