Ingredients

  • 1 package of fresh cheese ravioli
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes (28oz)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package instructions and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

  4. Let the sauce cook for 15-20 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.

  5. Add cooked ravioli to the sauce and stir gently to coat. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

  6. Garnish with fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese.
