How To Make Bennigans Monte Cristo Recipe
A classic, indulgent sandwich featuring ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, sandwiched between battered and fried bread.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of white bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of turkey
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup of raspberry preserves
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
Instructions

Spread mayo and mustard on 4 slices of bread, and raspberry preserves on the other 4.

Layer ham, turkey, and cheese on each slice with mayo/mustard.

Combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Take each sandwich and dip in egg mixture, coating both sides.

Fry sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
