Ingredients

  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of turkey
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup of raspberry preserves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 2 cups of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Spread mayo and mustard on 4 slices of bread, and raspberry preserves on the other 4.

  2. Layer ham, turkey, and cheese on each slice with mayo/mustard.

  3. Combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

  5. Take each sandwich and dip in egg mixture, coating both sides.

  6. Fry sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

  7. Serve hot with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and extra raspberry preserves on the side.
