  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, add the chopped potatoes and enough water to cover them.

  2. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender (about 20 minutes).

  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

  4. Add the butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the pot.

  5. Mash the potatoes until they are smooth and creamy.

  6. Serve hot.
