How To Make Aunt Susie’s Lemon Bars
A tangy and sweet dessert that bursts with lemon flavor and a buttery crust.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup softened butter, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar until crumbly.

Press mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Beat together 2 eggs, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 tbsp flour, and 1/2 tsp baking powder until well combined.

Pour mixture onto the crust and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until set.

Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
