Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.

  3. Add baking soda and salt. Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

  4. Mix in flour until just blended.

  5. Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
