Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until combined. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until well combined.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

  6. Let the blondies cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
