How To Make Soy Sauce Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 chicken leg quarters
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.

Place chicken in a large ziplock bag, pour marinade over it, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight).

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Remove chicken from the marinade and place it on a baking dish.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.

While the chicken is baking, pour the marinade into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil.

In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Add this mixture to the boiling marinade, stirring constantly until thickened.

Once the chicken is cooked, brush it with the thickened marinade.

Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
