Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (such as iceberg or romaine)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

  3. Pour the hoisin sauce mixture over the cooked chicken and stir until well coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto each lettuce leaf. Top with sliced green onions.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
