How To Make Hollandaise Sauce
This creamy and tangy sauce is the perfect accompaniment to eggs, vegetables, or grilled meats.

Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- salt, to taste
- cayenne pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice until well combined.

Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.

Whisk the egg yolk mixture constantly while slowly drizzling in the melted butter. Continue whisking until the sauce thickens and emulsifies.

Remove the bowl from the heat and season the sauce with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.

Serve immediately or keep warm in a thermos until ready to use.
