How To Make Oven-“Fried” Chicken Thighs
Serves:
Ingredients
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top of the foil and coat it with cooking spray.
-
In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
-
Dip each chicken thigh into the beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the bread crumb mixture. Place on the prepared wire rack.
-
Spray the tops of the chicken thighs with cooking spray to help them brown and crisp up in the oven.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken thighs are golden brown and cooked through.
-
Serve hot and enjoy your crispy “fried” chicken thighs!
