How To Make Next Level Fried Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat each thigh in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Carefully place the chicken thighs into the hot oil, cooking for about 10 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer the fried chicken to a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
