How To Make Mushroom Stroganoff on Toast

Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast until crispy.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until they become translucent.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together the vegetable broth, sour cream, and flour. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the mushrooms and stir well.

Cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the Mushroom Stroganoff over the crispy toast slices. Garnish with chopped parsley.
