  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Cook the chicken breasts until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

  5. Stir in the crème fraîche, chicken broth, and dried thyme. Bring to a simmer.

  6. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
