  • 4 Cornish hens
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the Cornish hens on a baking sheet and rub them with olive oil.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

  4. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the hens, rubbing it in to ensure it sticks.

  5. Stuff each hen with a few slices of lemon.

  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 60 minutes, or until the hens are golden brown and the juices run clear.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the hens rest for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve the Cornish hens with your favorite side dishes.
