  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.

  3. In a large cast iron skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.

  4. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  5. Place chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  6. Add lemon slices to the skillet and transfer to preheated oven.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
