How To Make 15-Minute Chicken & Halloumi Burgers

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken with salt and pepper.

  2. Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into burger patties.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the chicken patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  5. While the patties are cooking, grill the halloumi slices for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden and slightly melted.

  6. Toast the burger buns.

  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun.

  8. Top with a slice of grilled halloumi, tomato slices, and lettuce.

  9. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.

  10. Serve the chicken and halloumi burgers immediately.
