How To Make Tofu Brekkie Pancakes

Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and crumbled
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the crumbled tofu, flour, nutritional yeast, green onions, soy sauce, baking powder, turmeric, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Heat a bit of cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Spoon about 1/4 cup of the tofu batter onto the skillet and flatten it gently with the back of the spoon. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more oil to the skillet as needed.

Serve the tofu brekkie pancakes hot with your favorite toppings such as avocado, salsa, or maple syrup.
