Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups almond milk
- 6 dates, pitted and chopped
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, for serving
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a boil.

Add the rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the chopped dates, tahini, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let the porridge rest for 2 minutes.

Divide the porridge into bowls and serve topped with chopped nuts and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
