Crunchy onion rings coated in cereal for a unique twist on a classic snack.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup of cereal flakes
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of milk
- vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 375°F.

In a mixing bowl, combine cereal flakes, flour, salt, and black pepper.

Place milk in a separate bowl.

Dip onion rings in milk, then coat them in the cereal mixture.

Fry the coated rings until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each.

Remove with a slotted spoon and let oil drain off on paper towels.
