- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- For Bacon Mayo:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dip each onion ring into the buttermilk, then coat it generously with the flour mixture. Place the coated rings on a baking sheet.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked rings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the bacon mayo dip.
-
Serve the crispy onion rings hot with the bacon mayo dip.
