  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk and oil. Stir well until the dough comes together.

  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.

  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it onto a greased baking sheet.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing and serving.
