Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ¼ cups warm water
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

Add flour and salt to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour until it doubles in size.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Punch down the risen dough and transfer it onto a floured surface.

Shape the dough into a long baguette shape and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Slash the top of the bread diagonally with a knife.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the bread turns golden brown.
