Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

  2. Gradually add in warm milk and melted butter, mixing until a dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  6. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle shape.

  7. Sprinkle cranberries, raisins, and pecans evenly on the dough.

  8. Roll the dough tightly from the longer side, forming a log.

  9. Cut the log into 8 equal pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

  10. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  11. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.

  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm knots.

  13. Serve and enjoy!
