Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of warm milk
  • 2 tsp of active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In the bread machine pan, add the flour, granulated sugar, salt, melted butter, warm milk, and yeast in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

  2. Select the dough setting on your bread machine and let it mix and knead the dough.

  3. Once the dough is ready, remove it from the bread machine and place it on a floured surface. Divide the dough into small pieces and shape them into balls.

  5. Roll each dough ball in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until fully coated and place them in a greased baking dish.

  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  8. Bake the monkey bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
