  • 1 cup sweetcorn kernels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Add the sweetcorn kernels to the bowl and mix until well coated.

  3. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer.

  4. Fry the coated sweetcorn kernels in batches until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.

  6. Serve hot as an appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce.
